Pylatica Studio
House rules
This document sets out the terms of use of the services offered by Pylatica Studio. It applies to all users without exception, referred to as "members." These terms may be changed at any time and members will be informed of any changes.
1. Offers, services and facilities
Pylatica Studio offers fitness services including: pilates, fitness, stretching, yoga, dance, meditation, massage, breathing, sports coaching and nutrition.

2. Liability
Insurance: Pylatica Studio holds civil liability insurance. Each member must also hold valid civil liability insurance.
Health declaration: The member confirms that their state of health allows them to practise a sporting activity and that they have consulted their doctor.
Acknowledgement of risk: "Personal training and the practice of Pilates are in no way a medical treatment." The member acknowledges the risks inherent to sport.
Pregnancy: The member must notify the studio promptly and provide a medical certificate authorising sporting activity.
Personal belongings: The studio declines all liability in the event of loss, theft or damage to personal belongings. Lockers are made available.
Damage to facilities: Any intentional or accidental damage to facilities and equipment will be repaired at the expense of the responsible member.
3. Registration, payments and subscriptions
Access: Every member must purchase a valid subscription before accessing the services and facilities.
Rates: The prices displayed on the site at the time of purchase apply (VAT included for private individuals, VAT excluded for businesses).
Duration: Subscriptions are valid for a maximum of 4 months from the date of purchase for single classes or packs. Memberships work with an initial commitment of 12 weeks (84 days), that is 3 cycles of 4 weeks (28 days). They then renew automatically cycle by cycle after this initial period unless the member asks to interrupt them. Cancellation is free of charge.
Right of withdrawal: "The member has 14 days from the day after the date of purchase to clearly request, by email, a cancellation and refund without justification or reason." The subscription must not have been used.
Covid: In the event of closure due to government regulation, the validity of subscriptions may be extended, in part or in full, depending on the situation in question, but without any obligation to do so.
4. Classes
Format: Classes are by appointment only and last 55 minutes.
Cancellation: The member must give notice 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged.
Refund: No subscription that has been started or that has exceeded the refund period will be refunded. Remaining classes, whether single classes or from a pack of 8, may be transferred to another person meeting the conditions. Membership classes, however, are not transferable to another person.
Minors: Children under 12 are not accepted at the studio (except with exceptional authorisation from the instructor). From age 12, a signed parental authorisation is required.
5. House rules
Conduct
The member must adopt behaviour that is "irreproachable, polite, calm and courteous, respectful of other members and instructors."
Specific instructions:
- Phone on silent or put away (except with express authorisation for a medical on-call duty)
- Follow the instructors' guidance
- Maintain decent personal hygiene
- Prohibited: toxic substances, drugs, alcohol
- Prohibited: smoking, eating, consuming drinks other than water
Not admitted:
- People with visible injuries, infected wounds, severe skin infections
- Animals (even on a leash)
Contagious illness: The member must cancel 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged. If present regardless, the instructor may require a mask or exclusion. The class will be charged.
Aggressive behaviour: Strictly forbidden. Threats, insults, racist or xenophobic remarks will result in immediate exclusion decided by the instructor. The class will be charged. Permanent exclusion is possible.
Attire
On arrival: Remove shoes and store them properly in the cabinet.
During the session: Wear comfortable sportswear and clean socks. Bare feet are not permitted. No shoes are allowed in the training area.
Prohibited items: Avoid items likely to damage the equipment (zippers, jewellery, hair clips, an elastic band is preferred).
Recommendations: Bring a small water bottle and, if needed, a towel.
Changing rooms and lockers
Changing rooms: The member must undress and dress there. The curtain must be drawn while in use and left fully open afterward. No belongings may remain there after changing.
Lockers: Place personal belongings in a locked locker. The member is responsible for the key. In the event of loss, the studio will replace the lock at the member's expense.
Toilets
Please be respectful and clean. Nothing other than toilet paper may be disposed of. A closed bin is available.
Parking
Parking areas: Two spaces in front of the studio for cars and motorcycles only.
Bicycles and scooters: Regular bicycles and private kick scooters may be attached along the right side of the gate. Cargo bikes and mopeds are not permitted.
Parking instructions:
- Leave space between bicycles and cars
- Park cars with the rear facing the curb
- Keep to the left to leave room for bicycles on the right
- Use the spaces only for the time strictly necessary
General rules: The reversing area is subject to the same rules of respect and safety. The rest of the area belongs to other tenants. No vehicle is permitted inside the studio.
6. Facilities, equipment and safety
Right of exclusion: Management and instructors may temporarily or permanently exclude any person whose attitude, behaviour, remarks, state of health or attire is contrary to good conduct, disruptive, offensive, threatening or not in line with the instructions. No refund will be granted.
Instructor's authority: For situations not explicitly covered by these rules, the responsible instructor has full authority.
Damage: No damage will be accepted. Any damage will be repaired at the expense of the responsible party.
7. Data processing and confidentiality
All information collected (name, address, email, phone, medical data) is strictly confidential and will not be shared or sold to third parties without consent.
The member authorises the studio to collect, process and use their personal information to provide the requested services. Pylatica Studio uses certain management platforms and software.
8. Disputes and governing law
Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes fall under the French-speaking courts of the judicial district of Brussels.
Partial invalidity: The invalidity of one part does not entail the invalidity of the other provisions.
Reference version: Two versions exist (French and English). In case of doubt, the French version prevails.
